Mint Chip Pavona

The ORA Mint Pavona Coral is a vibrant and unique addition to any reef aquarium, known for its stunning color and growth pattern. This particular frag is cut to order, ensuring you receive a fresh and healthy coral. Please allow up to 2 weeks for healing if we do not have one prepped. To accommodate the healing process, we recommend selecting a shipping date at least a week away from your purchase. Each frag size ranges from 1/2 - 3/4 inch, perfect for integrating into your existing setup.

For placement, mount your new coral using IC gel glue, putty, or a combination of both. It should be placed on a rock or ledge where it receives direct lighting and ample flow, crucial for its growth and health. KC&C recommends feeding hard corals with a combination of foods like Zooplanktons, Phytoplanktons, Amino Acids, and other Organic Proteins. A daily broadcast feeding while return and circulation pumps are stopped will ensure the corals have the opportunity to consume the nutrients they require.

Regarding care, hard corals like the ORA Mint Pavona require high water flow and high lighting to maintain proper color and health. T5's, Metal Halides, or LED's can all grow Acropora when the proper PAR levels are provided, with a recommended 14-20K color spectrum for the best coloration. This coral demands high care levels, thriving in water conditions of 75-80° F; sg 1.025-1.026; pH 8.1-8.4, Ca 420-440 ppm, Alk 8-9.5 dKH, Mg 1300-1450, Nitrates <10ppm, Phosphates < .10ppm, making it suitable for the experienced aquarist.
